First beanie of the season! Although this ensemble is more on the fall spectrum of colors [because it’s technically still fall, people] there’s no doubt that the burgundy detail steals the show. I love the richness of this wine-red hue in faux leather and currently getting excited over its future use in my winter wardrobe. The best part is how light it is while still keeping me warm with only one layer underneath – for these strangely bearable days we’ve been having as well.

There’s more behind the title of this post than the color featured…because I’m actually going to wine country TOMORROW! Ps, by wine country I’m referring to Napa & Sonoma in the northern part of California. I’ll be spending 10 glorious days driving up to them on the West Coast starting in LA while stopping along the way for adventures and exploration. Any food and destination suggestions recommended!
