This summer made me realize how much I love wrap dresses. For some reason they fit and work well on my body, better than most other styles that I currently own & might need to replace. I’m not someone who can get away with shapeless styles anymore (i.e. smock and swing dresses) which is somewhat disappointing because I used to rock them all through college and a few years afterward.

That’s also when my body was a muscular stick figure…

I guess that’s what to expect when you quit your full-time sport + tack on changes that come post-college in your mid-older twenties. But hey, I’ve never been happier with my new curves & feeling rather sophisticated in a dress style such as this. I’m considering this wardrobe moment a turning point in my adulthood.
