I’m known for skinny jeans but every so often, the time calls for a more relaxed fit that doesn’t force me to “suck it in” throughout the day…most of you know the feeling & if you’re in denial, I’ll take one for the team. Sometimes skinny is too skinny so the next best option is the ever-reliable boy in your denim collection.

When you’re feeling extra cozy, an oversized knit sweater above the denim makes for the perfect couple when the two are seen together. However, I find wearing a heel of some sort enables the look to appear more structured than if you opted for flats. If you’re not a heel lady – because they can be quite a pain in reality – think of a pointed-toe flat rather than a rounded ballerina or sneaker. Sometimes a slight change in shape can pull together what would be considered a “frumpy” ensemble into something effortlessly chic. Shop similar below:
