I’ll admit that I’ve ordered/tried-on/returned too many articles of white clothing in the last 1.5 months, and I’m very glad I did because a lot of what I thought I’d love ended up getting sent right back. Just like deciding on your wedding dress, it’s important to allow time to try on anything & everything you’re envisioning for yourself to wear in the moments outside the Ceremony & Reception – like the Rehearsal, After-Party (if you choose to change), and Brunch the following day (if you opt for such.)

When first putting our registry together, in my head I’m thinking, “We’re not in our ‘forever home’ so there’s no use adding items to our registry we can’t use now/in the near future.” Understandable BUT there’s a slight disruption in this method of thinking. For starters, a registry can serve as a shopping destination for items you’d not normally purchase yourself or would go out of your way for, generally speaking – like nice linen sheets. Wonderful to sleep in, but at a price that would equate a grocery bill.

There’s truly nothing better than an epic weekend getaway with your best friends, especially if the occasion has to do with a Bachelorette. My amazing sister took it upon herself to not only research, book, plan & organize a road-trip destination of a Bachelorette, but also in one of the most special places held sacred in my childhood memories – Rehoboth Beach, DE.
