The Next Step

I’M IN LOVE, I’M IN LOVE & I DON’T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!

These studded booties have captured the heart of my human being & the heart of my wallet for a few reasons.

First, look at them; they’re amazing.

Second, they’re designer; Saint Laurent to be exact

Third, I got them SUPER DISCOUNTED at Century 21 in the CLEARANCE SECTION!

When I say I’ve never felt true joy during a shopping experience until now, believe it. I haven’t stopped smiling about the thought of them (and have worn them at least once a day since purchasing…)

The momentous purchase has led me to the next step in strategizing my footwear inventory. I recently did a mini purge of my closet, primarily shoes, and made a mental note of what styles I would like to have, which I’d like to replace, and what can be retired permanently from my wardrobe.

Quality > quantity when it comes to shoes & handbags, in my opinion. I would much rather scope out a designer score in a high-end retailer that specializes in discounted designer brands than fast fashion purchase styles as needed, only to have them deteriorate after a couple wears.

This step in strategizing will lead me to a more diverse and sustainable wardrobe for years to come, as well as a happier wallet at the end of the day with more selective & less frequent purchases.
