Last week I shared option 1 of what to wear to a holiday party. Today’s look is another idea to keep in mind for possibly a more casual holiday party or gathering, although adding a pair of heels as I did definitely qualifies this velvet & lace outfit for a dressier occasion as well.

Personally, I love overalls and find any excuse to wear them dressed up or down. If you think about it, they’re technically ‘jumpsuits’ so for those of you saying “I’m too short for overalls…” – you’re not. Chances are you’ve worn a jumpsuit before, which means you can 100% rock overalls! Plus, adding a heel for height obviously elongates the body, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Overalls: Forever 21 (old, but love this skinny pair) | Lace Blouse | Bag: Chloe | Rings: Kollectin | Lip: Bobbi Brown ‘Grenadine’

These are just gorgeous! I love the overalls and the velvet is such a great trend right now! The lacy top definitely compliments the velvet!
