Since January, I’ve been very dedicated to my fitness regiment and so far enjoying the changes in my body, mind, & soul as a result. I made it my goal for this year to get a kickstart on my summer bod, knowing by the time the actual season rolled around I’d be in seasoned shape with getting to the gym on a weekly basis. Now that the time is practically here, I’m very proud of myself and the dedication I’ve kept my commitment to!
BBG 3x and slowly incorporating 1-2 workout classes during the week (these are my go-to favorites in NYC & I’ve also recently started this high-intensity one) has been my routine thus far. As I’ve become more interested in fitness, there’s been a natural desire to explore other areas that contribute to my overall workout regiment – from diets & supplements to athletic clothing brands & gadgets that make working out more fun for me to pursue.
One of my latest gadget contributors to my workouts is the Gen 3 Sport Smartwatch from Fossil. I was super excited to see the launch of one that would assist in making my workouts more effective, along with everything else a smartwatch offers. I’m able to monitor my activity & heart rate with the built-in Fitness and Heart Rate Trackers, as well as mark my runs with the Google Maps feature. Listening to my Spotify playlists is easily connected through the smartwatch’s Bluetooth® Smart Enabled feature, and controlling the volume cam be managed with a voice command to Google too!
Call it a luxury item but being able to track my activity is something I find very efficient when calculating the overall performance of my workouts. With this data downloaded straight to my phone through the Wear OS app, I can make adjustments as I see fit, depending on what my workout goals are for a given week. Plus, having something lightweight on my wrist that allows me to listen and control my music with a simple voice command is a great perk!
